Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni on Sunday claimed that no land was encroached upon for the construction of the N-Convention Centre in Hyderabad, which was demolished by authorities on Saturday.
The well-known Telugu actor and filmmaker also asked his supporters and well-wishers not to engage in guessing, spreading rumors, or twisting the truth.
“I want to emphasize once again that the property where N-Convention took place is officially registered. Not a single inch of the land outside that has been illegally taken over,” Nagarjuna posted on Twitter.
“The unique tribunal of Andhra Pradesh Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act issued a decision on February 24, 2014, declaring that no violation occurred at Tummidikunta Lake,” he stated.
“At this point, the official debate has been set before the respected High Court. I will adhere to the legal framework and rulings. Until then, I earnestly ask you to refrain from making baseless claims, spreading rumors, false statements, or any kind of deviation,” he stated.
The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection (HYDRAA) agency has initiated the process of tearing down the N-Convention Centre, which is jointly owned by Nagarjuna.
This demolition effort, according to officials, is a component of a continuous effort to eliminate unauthorized structures that violate water areas and public territories.
